Developer Advocate (Dental Platform)

Be the bridge between Odento's developer platform and the dental developer community — like a Google Developer Advocate but focused on the dental industry.

What you'll do

  • Create technical content: tutorials, blog posts, video walkthroughs, and sample apps using the Odento API
  • Build and maintain SDKs (JavaScript, Python, Kotlin, Swift) and code samples
  • Run developer workshops, hackathons, and webinars for dental tech developers
  • Engage with the developer community on GitHub, Discord, and social media
  • Gather developer feedback and advocate for developer needs with the engineering team
  • Write API documentation and integration guides
  • Build reference integrations (WhatsApp bots, calendar syncs, EHR connectors)
  • Represent Odento at dental tech conferences and developer events

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong communication skills (writing, presenting, video content)
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Proficiency in at least 2 of: Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, Python
  • Experience with developer tools, SDKs, and API documentation
  • Understanding of developer community engagement

Nice to have

  • Experience as a Developer Advocate or Developer Relations role
  • Knowledge of the dental/healthcare industry
  • Experience with ABDM integration or healthcare APIs
  • Open source contributions and community leadership
  • Experience creating video tutorials or technical livestreams
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API, Google Workspace APIs, or healthcare interoperability
