Installation Guide

Web Dashboard

The web dashboard is the primary interface for dentists, labs, and institutes. No download is required — open your browser and navigate to app.in.odento.app.

For quick access, you can install Odento as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your desktop:

• Chrome / Edge: Click the install icon in the address bar, then confirm Install
• Safari (macOS): Open the Share menu and select Add to Dock
• Firefox: PWA installation is not natively supported — use a browser bookmark instead

Once installed, Odento opens in its own window, runs in the background, and supports push notifications for new appointments and lab order updates.

Mobile App — Android

The Odento Android app is available on the Google Play Store. It's designed for dentists on the go, lab technicians, and patients managing their appointments.

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device
2. Search for "Odento" or scan the QR code on odento.app/download
3. Tap Install — the app is approximately 45 MB
4. Open the app and sign in with your Odento credentials

Mobile App — iOS

The Odento iOS app is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. It supports all the same features as the Android app, including offline access and push notifications.

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
2. Search for "Odento" or use the direct link at odento.app/download
3. Tap Get to download and install
4. Open the app and sign in with your Odento credentials

System Requirements

Web Dashboard

• A modern browser (see Browser Support below)
• Stable internet connection (minimum 1 Mbps for smooth operation)
• Screen resolution of 1280×720 or higher recommended
• At least 2 GB of available RAM
• JavaScript and cookies enabled

Android App

• Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
• At least 150 MB of free storage
• Internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
• Camera permission for document and intraoral photo capture
• Notification permission for appointment reminders

iOS App

• iOS 14.0 or later
• iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
• At least 150 MB of free storage
• Internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
• Camera and notification permissions

Browser Support

Odento supports the latest two major versions of each browser. Using an older version may result in degraded performance or missing features.

Troubleshooting

If the web dashboard doesn't load properly, try these steps in order:

1. Clear your browser cache and cookies for odento.app
2. Disable browser extensions, especially ad blockers and privacy tools
3. Try an incognito or private browsing window to rule out extension conflicts
4. Update your browser to the latest version
5. Check your internet connection and firewall settings
