Integrations
Odento integrates with the tools your practice already uses. Connect Google Calendar for scheduling sync, WhatsApp for patient communication, and Razorpay for online payments.
Overview
Integrations extend Odento's core capabilities by connecting to external services. Each integration is configured at the organization level and applies to all locations within that organization. Integrations use secure OAuth 2.0 or API key authentication, and all credentials are encrypted at rest.
Currently, Odento supports three integrations: Google Calendar (two-way sync), WhatsApp Business API (patient communication and Neurax AI), and Razorpay (payment gateway). Additional integrations are in development.
Organization-Level Setup
Integrations are configured once per organization. All locations and users within the organization share the same integration settings, simplifying management for multi-location practices.

How Integrations Work
Odento integrations follow a consistent pattern:
- Connect: Authenticate with the external service using OAuth or API keys.
- Configure: Set preferences — which calendars to sync, which WhatsApp templates to use, which payment methods to accept.
- Sync: Odento maintains a live connection, syncing data in real time or on a schedule.
- Monitor: View integration status, sync logs, and error reports in the dashboard.
- Disconnect: Revoke access at any time. Odento immediately stops syncing and deletes stored credentials.
Integration Security
All integrations follow strict security practices:
- Credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
- OAuth tokens are refreshed automatically and stored securely.
- API keys are never exposed to the client; all API calls are made server-side.
- Integration activity is logged for audit purposes.
- Disconnecting an integration immediately revokes access and deletes stored credentials.
Data Residency
All integration data is processed and stored in India (Mumbai region) to comply with data residency requirements. See the Compliance documentation for details.
Troubleshooting
If an integration stops working, check the following:
- Integration status: Go to Settings → Integrations and check the status indicator.
- Sync logs: View recent sync attempts and error messages in the integration detail page.
- Re-authenticate: If tokens have expired, disconnect and reconnect the integration.
- Permissions: Ensure the connected account has the required permissions for the integration.
- Contact support: If issues persist, contact support@odento.app.
