Labs

Odento connects dental labs directly to the dentists they serve. Receive digital case orders, manage production workflows, enforce quality control, and track inventory — all in one platform that syncs in real time with your dentist clients.

Overview

The dental lab experience in Odento is built around four pillars: Orders (receiving and tracking cases from dentists), Production (managing the workflow from case intake to dispatch), Quality Control (ensuring every case meets your standards before it ships), and Inventory (tracking materials, stock, and suppliers).

When a dentist on Odento creates a lab work order, it appears in your queue instantly — no phone calls, no emails, no lost instructions. Digital impressions, shade specifications, and clinical notes travel with the order, so your technicians have everything they need to start production.

Direct Connection

You only receive orders from dentists who have explicitly added you as their lab partner. There's no marketplace or bidding — Odento respects existing lab-dentist relationships and makes them more efficient.

Getting Started

If you're a lab new to Odento, start by completing your lab profile in Settings — add your capabilities (crown and bridge, dentures, implants, ortho, etc.), materials you work with, and turnaround time estimates. Dentists see this information when deciding whether to send you a case.

Then ask your dentist clients to add you as their lab partner. They search for your lab by name or phone number in Odento and send an invitation. Once you accept, you're connected and ready to receive orders.

Multi-Location Labs

If your lab has multiple branches, each location can have its own production queue and inventory while sharing a single Odento account. Dentists can specify which branch to send a case to.
