Platforms

Odento is built on six integrated platform modules. Each module is a standalone product that also works seamlessly within the Odento ecosystem, sharing data, authentication, and billing infrastructure.

Overview

The Odento platform is architected as a modular system. Dental practices, labs, institutes, and individual professionals can adopt individual modules or the full suite. All modules share a single identity layer — one user account works across every platform — and billing is centralized so you manage a single subscription.

Horizontal platforms such as Sparkwise (education), Linklane (networking), and Symposia (events) are cross-vertical: they exist as standalone apps and also embed inside vertical apps like Odento. A dental student opens Odento, taps Sparkwise, and sees dental courses without leaving the app.

Single Identity

One account works across all six modules. No separate logins — switch between Calendar, Linklane, Wave, Symposia, Sparkwise, and Neurax from a single dashboard.

Architecture

All platform modules communicate through a central GraphQL API backed by PostgreSQL. Shared infrastructure — authentication, billing, notifications, and file storage — lives in the core layer and is consumed by every module. This means a patient booked through Calendar automatically appears in Neurax conversation context, and a course completed on Sparkwise updates the learner's Linklane profile.

Data Flow Between Modules

  • Calendar → Neurax: Appointment events trigger Neurax workflows for reminders and follow-ups.
  • Sparkwise → Linklane: Completed courses and certifications appear on professional profiles.
  • Symposia → Calendar: Registered events sync to the attendee's calendar automatically.
  • Wave → Sparkwise: Video content from Wave can be embedded in Sparkwise courses.
  • Linklane → Calendar: Referrals between professionals generate calendar entries for patient visits.

Getting Started with Modules

Modules are enabled per organization. When you create an Odento account, Calendar is enabled by default. Administrators can enable additional modules from the Settings → Modules page in the dashboard. Each module has its own onboarding flow that walks you through configuration.

Pricing Note

Calendar and Linklane are included in all plans. Wave, Symposia, Sparkwise, and Neurax are available as add-ons. Contact sales for bundle pricing.
